Gave this soft rabbit as a gift to my niece. Enjoys snuggling with him. Bought the book, too.

A great addition to any collection.
I don't get why every toy has the educational rating. I guess I could've given a higher rating for that on the basis that if you're in the midst of learning Japanese, you can get some practice reading the box. I'm also confused as to why they gave this toy an 18+ rating. It's just Rei in a witch outfit, there isn't anything vulgar or lewd about it.

Anyways, I'd highly recommend this figure to any collector, especially those who collect witch figurines. This one fits in well with my Yuki Nagato and Louise the Zero figures. It stands roughly 15 cm tall. The product is of pretty high detail, mainly the eyes and hair which have a great resemblance to Rei in the show but in my opinion, more like Rei in the, "Shinji Ikari Raising Project." It's very durable, even if you were to drop it I'd doubt there to be even a mark on it.

The complaint I have about the material used to make this figure is that it changes. Everything is made of the same material save the hands and legs. While everything else is made of the typical pvc plastic used for most figurines, the legs and hands are made of a plastic that feels more like the plastic used in a model kit. I figure this was done with the intent of giving those parts a shinier look than the clothing and the hair.

And finally for the really anal people out there, there was a defect in mine. Under the rim of the hat there was a slight bubble in the paint it looks like. This has no real effect on the product being that it's under the rim and out of sight but I mentioned this as a warning that yours may have a defect elsewhere, say on her face or maybe on the cat. I didn't notice any blemishes in the painting, so when just looking at the figure, not actually studying it, it looks pristine.

So I'll conclude by saying that this is a great figure for anyone, no matter your interest. It's made with great care and would easily fit in with any of your favorites. (don't put it next to Turn A though, Turn A trumps all)

My son loves this toy its way better and way more sturdy than rock em sock em robotd and has voices and sounds

Karate Chopping Fun
This toy is very cute and has funny phrases. My kids got this for christmas and they do enjoy it, but like others have said, Sandy seems to always be the big winner!

Horrible let down!
This toy looked really cool! When you get it home and the kids get into it, you realize the flaws. The biggest and most important being that Sandy ALWAYS wins! This toy should have never been put out like this. These problems should have been fixed before it came to the shelves. Great disappointment.

Spongebob is great but Toy is NOT!
My daughter got this toy for Christmas. If you are Sandy you will win every time. The ring should have been much larger and Sandy will not pop up unless you push her chest. Spongebob pops if you bump him lightly. It is funny with the sounds and voices but it will end up as decor on a shelf. Mattel is sending me a voucher to buy another product since I wasn't able to return it to the store. Great idea that could be fixed if Mattel wanted to. Don't buy it.

Disappointed in Durability
I bought this toy for my 5 and 9 year old girls - they love Spongebob and this looked similar to the classic fighting robots. The sounds and phrases are very funny. Our game survived about 1 round of action. Spongebob's arms do not stay in the position they are supposed to, not to mention that he is generally unable to chop Sandy hard enough to make her pop. Spongebob pops if you look at him. We were so disappointed. To Fisher Price's credit, when I called them about these issues they sent me a voucher for the purchase price of the toy. I believe the toy is not designed properly. Fun idea - not so fun in reality.

This is one of the best products made for a child
My son loves this dvd story. I think any of the read with me products was a winner for a parent or a child that loves story time or reading time. I can hardly believe that they slashed the prices or it didn't really sell as much. I think society today should buy this type of educational item more than video games for the kids...my son Cameron really loves this, and as a parent, this is a great concept. By all means you should own this item.

Great story!
My daughter got the entire system for her third birthday. She LOVES Corduroy and watches it constantly. It has some fun story games to play as well. I highly recommend it.

My son LOVES!!!!! this.
My son has a few of the DVDs that go with this system but he absolutely LOVES this one. And so do I!. It's a wonderful story with a great lesson for kids to learn. Great animation and the voice of the character fits the character so well. My son is memorizing the story and loves to read along. He also loves the DVD about the little blue train, but this is still his favorite. This DVD is meant to be played with the READ with ME DVD system and the previous reviewer gave this DVD a negative rating but it appears that they don't even own this system to be able to play it back.

Great story for the Read with Me DVD player
This was a great addition to our Read with Me dvd collection. My son loves it - there are so many games and options available that it keeps him occupied for hours!

cute, but...
We got this for our kids last year(twins 3 and daughter 4 at the time)and they absolutely LOVED it! It was hilarious to watch them laugh every time they played with it. They danced and sang along-they thought it was great. It was only about a week when it stopped working. I think it was due to my daughter trying to hold spongebob still while singing. It doesn't work anymore, so it is not very durable for young kids. They loved it so much I have considered buying a new one, but I have not decided yet if it will turn out to be another waste of money. It would be good for kids who are very careful with their toys.

can't sing
although my daughter loves spongebob, we were a little disappointed with this toy. we can't figure out how to make him sing. he goes through the motions but there is no song or sound.

Spongebob's ripped pants toy
My daughter loves the cartoon of "ripped pants" so I thought this would be a great gift for her. It is VERY had to get out of the packaging, but after that, she loved it. It is pretty loud and I don't see a volume control on it. She's satisfied with the number of tricks it does and she loves the song he sings (right from the cartoon). Overall a adequate purchase.

I almost ripped my own pants trying to get it out of the box!!
Really cool toy but not cool enough to have 12 large screws holding it in the box. When I was a kid, you got a toy and could take it right out of the box. There were no special trips to the garage for the disection of packaging. This one definately sets the record for most annoying package. The toy seems to be a bit misleading as well. It does not really say everything that the box says.

A review of Ripped Pants SpongeBob
Ripped Pants SpongeBob is based on the TV episode "Ripped Pants." He's wearing the same ripped pants, has an embarrassed expression on his face, and is holding a sand guitar.

When you push the button on SpongeBob's right shoe, he will tell jokes like "I'll take a banana split... and some ripped pants!" or "This is what you call a real rip-off." Push the button on SpongeBob's left shoe and he will sing the ripped pants song... and rip his pants during the song!

Overall, 5 stars. Buy Ripped Pants SpongeBob now, don't miss your chance, or you will end up like the fool who ripped his pants!
